The noodles that broke the internet have landed at Sugar Plug Sweets.
Samyang Buldak — Korea's legendary fire noodle — is now available to order in the UK, imported directly so you're getting the authentic Korean version, not a watered-down reformulation. If you've seen the viral challenge videos and wondered what all the fuss is about, now's your chance to find out.
What Is Samyang Buldak?
Buldak (불닭) literally translates to "fire chicken" in Korean, and that's exactly what you're getting. Samyang's Buldak range is famous for its intense, addictive heat combined with a deeply savoury, umami-rich sauce that keeps you coming back for more — even when your eyes are watering. They've been a staple of Korean convenience food culture for years, and the rest of the world has well and truly caught on.
The Range
We've brought in six flavours, each available as a single pack or a 5-pack for the committed Buldak fan:
- Carbonara — the fan favourite. Creamy, spicy, and dangerously moreish. Available as a single, 5-pack, or bowl.
- Cream Carbonara — a slightly milder, creamier take on the carbonara. Perfect if you want the flavour without quite as much fire.
- Rosé — a tomato-cream sauce with Buldak heat. Rich, bold, and surprisingly complex.
- Quattro Cheese — four cheeses meet Korean spice. Available as a single or 5-pack.
- Taco — a limited-edition flavour with a Mexican-Korean fusion twist. One of the most unique in the range.
- Curry — Korean curry spice meets Buldak heat. A must-try for curry lovers who want something different.
How Spicy Are They, Really?
Genuinely spicy. The original Buldak clocks in at around 4,400 Scoville Heat Units — that's hotter than a jalapeño. The Carbonara and Cream Carbonara are slightly more approachable, but don't be fooled by the creamy sauce. If you're new to Buldak, start there. If you're a seasoned spice lover, go straight for the Taco or Curry.
Ready in Minutes
Boil, drain, mix with the sauce sachet, and you're done. That's it. They make an incredible late-night meal, a quick lunch, or the centrepiece of a spice challenge with friends.
